My recent trip to MARRAKECH will be one of the most memorable for a long time to come.......RIAD QODWA is one of the most TRANQUIL /SERENTISED hotel/locations I have had the pleasure to visit in a long time....out standing staff members...and management....so kind and careing....constantly working to comply with all guests needs...24/7.....khalid ..the manager..could not have made me feel any more welcome and comfortable than I already was...the SUPER enclosed surroundings of the ATLAS MOUNTAINS simply adds to the peaceful ambience of the Moroccan charm.....(SHALL MISS MARRAKECH DEEPLY).....Great location..with a free bus shuttle twice a day to MARRAKECH it's self...only 30 mins drive.....and the experiences driving there make the journey all the more worth it .

The hotel itself is very nice and clean. It is placed in a peaceful location with the mountains’ view. At night you can see the Milky Way. You can pick the fruits straight from the trees such as lemons and oranges which are really delicious. Peacocks are everywhere making this place even more like paradise. The water in the swimming pool is very clean. The food is typical Marrokan and every day it is something different. The service is professional especially Mr Khalid. The hotel has a Very friendly atmosphere. The staff is always willing to help and advice you about anything essential that you need to know such as the lower price for offered goods in Marrakesh. Transport to the city, airport etc is for free. This hotel also organises trips to beautiful places such as Atlas Mountains. So you don’t have to worry about anything. I highly recommend it

I travelled to Marakesh alone with my teenage son and baby. I stayed at the Riad Qodwa for 10 nights and was made to feel safe, welcome and very well looked after.Khalid and his team are happy to help in anyway they can; they serve a good variety of tasty food (both traditional dishes like meat & couscous and tagines, as well as burgers, pizza etc) and drinks throughout the day and night and work to ensure your comfort throughout your stay.The Riad itself is cosy and kept extremely clean by the lovely cleaning ladies, who came into my suite daily to change our bed linen and mop the whole room & bathroom.You can enjoy your complementary breakfast out by the pool in the well kept gardens, with stunning views of the Atlas mountains. Then at night when things turn cooler, have your dinner in the dining room by a cosy open-fire - it was all just lovely!The Riad provides a free shuttle bus in and out of Marakesh at set times of the day, but the staff can also recommend reliable Taxi drivers in case you wish to go out/return at a different time. Khalid issues guests with a tourist map of Marakesh, including all the local sights and attractions. The Riad also organises a range of excursions at an extra cost, but I found the prices to be extremely good value.Overall it was a wonderful holiday at an incredibly good price and we hope to return again soon!

My friend and I stayed at Quodwa from December the 18th 2017. We were due to stay 10 days but liked it so much we extended our stay for another week with Khalid, the manager. The hotel is in a quiet tranquil spot about half an hour from the main square in Marrakech which was perfect as we found Marrakech itself interesting and culturally eye opening but tiring. The hotel offers a reliable shuttle service to Marrakech twice a day for free. We were greeted with fresh orange juice on arrival and the reception of the staff was exemplary and continued throughout our stay. By the end of 16 days we regarded them as close friends! Everyone working here is so friendly and Khalid in particular goes above and beyond to make your holiday comfortable and memorable. The hotel grounds are beautiful and home lots of peacocks and a gorgeous resident cat who we named tiddles but im pretty sure this isnt her name! The pool was beautiful but unfortunately too cold to swim in at this time of year. We went to the ouzud waterfall and essouria from the hotel and these trips went smoothly and were well worth it. Staff are always happy to give advice and warn you about prices to pay, for example, how much taxi journeys should be in Marrakech. The breakfast is set each day but is plentiful and every meal we had was lovely..my favourite was the lemon and olive tagine with yellow vegetable rice. Thanks to everyone here for a once in a lifetime Christmas and New year 2017. A particularly unforgettable experience was my soap scrub and massage in the newly opened hammam close by organised by the hotel. I am looking forward to returning in September to Qodwa and exploring the Sahara. If you stay here don't forget to look up at the stars, so beautiful!

When we arrived at the hotel we were given a lovely welcome by 2 men called Khalid and Hassan (not sure how to spell the names) and throughout our time spent here they were so helpful and the nicest people to be around. The hotel was stunning, we stayed in the suite which was really big and was cleaned everyday. The 2 men were so helpful despite we were English and not many people spoke that language there but they seemed to understand us and they helped us out the best they could which I really appreciated. On our second day we were going into Marrakech and Khalid swapped our notes into coins and smaller notes for pictures with monkeys and snakes and warned us what it was going to be like and what to do and what not to do which was so helpful as we would have had no idea if he wouldn’t have said anything. On our 4th day we went camel riding and again through the hotel those lovely men booked it for us and told us what time the taxi would pick us up and told us about it and we got advised to do it at sunset and we did and was the best experience of the holiday. The next day I didn’t feel well I think I had the Moroccan stomach bug and I had heat stroke and I was in the room all day because I couldn’t get out of bed and Hassan kept checking on me seeing if I was alright and was asking my family if I was alright as well and then he knocked on the door and gave me this special tea that helps you get better which was really nice of him and it actually helped so if it wasn’t for him I don’t think I would have been well on my last day so thank you. On our last day we went into Marrakech and again the men were lovely with organising the taxis to come and pick us up and were so helpful. Overall I have loved my stay here one of the best holidays I have been in and the hotel was amazing the food is really nice and the staff were so helpful and caring towards us. Thank you for making it the best stay for me and my family and I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone because we loved it!

I was here in October 2016 but I did not have Tripadvisor then. I was with my friend and we had a lovely stay!Such nice staff, and everyone was so nice to us and made suggestions with what we can do in the city center that day, the hotel manager always helped us with prices and gave us a map and explained a lot about the city. We were sitting with him some evenings and drank tea. And we did not feel uncomfortable at all any Second in the hotel, even as two young women in a hotel with mainly male staff. The first night we did sleep at the other house (there are 3 houses) which was not so nice, but they were fully booked and in the next morning we could even chose our room. It was beautiful and huge! It is not a classic hotel, but a huge house that was converted into a hotel. But I liked the concept, since it was a small hotel with >20 rooms and the staff knew all their guests. Breakfast was very good, every day we got a different Moroccan breakfast specialty. Free shuttle to the city center 4x a day, we always spend the morning and afternoon at the pool and went to the city centre for late afternoon and evening. The shuttle driver also helped us to get a taxi in the city center and told the taxi driver to make us a good price would stay there again!

We returned last weekend having spent a week here .Beautiful surroundings fruit trees though not in blossom yet the promise of fruitfulness to come like the garden of Eden.Initially we had a room in the main building asked for a move to the new building absolutely no problem really lovely beautiful Moroccan decoration hand painted panels on the doors tiled entrance with fountains .Rooms cleaned daily linen change regularly.Spotlessly clean comfortable beds .enjoyed all our meals as said previously said all cooked to order order after six thirty and served in the dining area where there were two log fires burning. Nothing is to much trouble for Khalid the manager also Abdul and Hamid We spent several days just relaxing at the Riad enjoying the sun around 21 degrees most days .We would order a salad and Khalid would insist on bringing it to us on the terrace superb hospitality The view to the spectacular Atlas mountains is breathtaking .an oasis of peace and tranquility We even saw tortoises scuttling around the garden .There is also a lovely house cat . .The plumbing isn't the greatest but quickly sorted out unfortunately the water has to much calcium .Rooms were lovely and warm tv in many languages and a movie channel in English + bbc We will certainly return world news. The pool area was being updated but it wasn't intrusive at all We loved every moment and wished it could have been longer Thank you all for making our stay with you everything we hoped for.
